IMF's Plan for Loosening 'Big Squeeze' on Sub-Saharan Africa

Growth in Sub-Saharan Africa is expected to slow for the second year in a row in 2023. The outlook for the region is reflective of the slowdown in the global economy, as well as the war between Russia and the Ukraine, the International Monetary Fund reports. Catherine Pattillo, senior economist at the IMF spoke with AllAfrica's Esther Rose, about the challenges facing countries in the region.
