Kenya: President Ruto Nominates Phylis Wambui Wagacha as an SRC Member

Nairobi — President William Ruto has nominated Dr. Phylis Wambui Wagacha for appointment as a member of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) representing the Public Service Commission (PSC).

President Ruto picked Wagacha following the recommendation by the PSC who had two candidates for the post.

If approved by Parliament, Wagacha will succeed Dalmas Otieno who resigned to participate in the 2022 elections.

Wagacha, holds a Doctoral Degree in Information Sciences, from Moi University.

She has previously served at Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA), the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS), the Kenya National Library Service (KNLS), and the International Committee for Social Science Information and Documentation.
